• Nirmalyam (Pūjā waste)

Nirmalyam ( Pūjā waste ), there are various items used in our daily Pūjā rituals, and they are used in some mode. The only left over items after Pūjā is the flowers and some petty items.

  • Vishuddikarana (Disposal)

Pūjā Flowers are very auspicious and also spiritual. Currently the
flowers are being disposed in waste yards, rivers and lakes, which are
polluted, or finding alternative ways. We want to bridge this gap by
giving the flowers back to mother-nature rather than dumping in waste yards or other ways.

  • Any Cultural Significance?

As said Ahimsa Prathamam Pushpam, the first offering to god as per our vedic texts is the flower and it has to be handled in a very sensitive and delicate way. Importance of this used Pūjā flowers is also given as stories in Bhagavatham and in Magha puranam.

It is of priority that we dispose this flowers in a respectful way.
